Martlet UAS

The Martlet Family of Systems consists of tactical micro and mini SRR/ISTAR drones designed to deliver an extended flight time and a minimal acoustic signature for covert day & night observation and monitoring. These systems are quickly deployed from a backpack or transport case and provide real-time aerial intelligence, enabling swift and informed decision-making in critical situations.

Covert Operations

The Martlet family of systems is designed for exceptional covertness and silent operation. Larger systems remain undetectable at greater distances, while smaller systems go unnoticed at closer ranges. This makes them ideal for covert surveillance and reconnaissance. This specialized build quality allows for discreet operations.

Endurance and Bingo

Advanced materials, efficient propellers, and high-performance internal electronics contribute to the systems’ remarkable flight times while carrying essential equipment.

Additionally, the integrated “Bingo” alert system keeps pilots informed of remaining mission time, allowing them to focus on their tasks. The Bingo calculates the time remaining before the UAV must return.

GNSS-Denied Operation

The GCS automatically activates Dead Reckoning Mode when GPS signals are unavailable, allowing uninterrupted operation in GNSS-denied areas. This ensures reliable navigation and mission continuity, even in locations without satellite coverage.

MGRS/UTM/GEO targeting data

The software displays the real-time camera footprint on the map and calculates the locations of the camera footprint and points of interest (POIs) in UTM, MGRS, and GEO coordinates. It can also measure distances that are valuable for ground personnel. The Martlet GCS software supports multiple custom military maps.

Martlet

Ground Control Station

The Martlet Ground Control Station (GCS) is a durable, portable control unit designed for single-operator use in any environment and equipped with MIL-STD components for ruggedness and reliability.

ATAK COMPATIBLE

AES256 Encryption
15-35 km Transmitting distance (0.5-2W)
2.0-2.5 GHz Frequency range
STANAG 4609 Compliant

Durable Design

The GCS features rugged construction to ensure operational reliability in demanding conditions. Certified to IP65, MIL-STD-810H, and MIL-STD-461G standards, it is resistant to dust, water, shocks, and electromagnetic interference. Additionally, the GCS includes stealth and night modes for low-visibility operations and a glove-compatible touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 3 for enhanced durability and usability in challenging environments.

HT-SDR Datalink Module

The GCS incorporates a secure, in-house developed software-defined digital datalink that uses AES-256 encryption. With customizable encryption keys, it provides adaptable security tailored to mission requirements.

This datalink features automatic frequency hopping within NATO harmonized bands (2.0–2.5 GHz, with an optional 5.0–5.2 GHz), enhancing resilience against interference and jamming. This capability ensures a stable communication link, even in challenging environments.
