HEIGHT Technologies and Auterion Announce Collaboration to Advance ISR Drone Technology and Interoperability

Geldermalsen / Arlington,  February 24 2025HEIGHT Technologies, a global player in designing and manufacturing the world’s most efficient Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) drones, better known as the “Martlet Family Of Systems”, and Auterion, a premier provider of UAV flight and mission control solutions, are pleased to announce a new collaboration that will drive innovation in autonomous aerial systems.
This partnership will significantly accelerate future developments and contribute to the much-needed interoperability among European and NATO allies. By integrating Auterion’s state-of-the-art  Skynode platform and Auterion Mision Control ground control solution with HEIGHT Technologies’s high-performance Martlet ISR drones, the collaboration ensures seamless compatibility and enhanced operational effectiveness across allied forces.

A key milestone of this partnership is the parallel introduction of the groundbreaking HAI node, a technological advancement that will elevate autonomous drone operations to unprecedented levels. The HAI node enhances the system’s ability to process vast amounts of real-time data, ensuring greater autonomy and improving situational awareness. This is a critical step toward delivering the capabilities required for accurate and rapid decision-making on the battlefield.

Moreover, this collaboration plays a pivotal role in advancing the sensor-to-shooter concept, where ISR drones provide near-instantaneous intelligence to combat forces. By shortening the decision-making cycle from detection to engagement, the integrated solution will empower military units with the information superiority necessary to execute precise and timely actions in dynamic operational environments.

“The partnership between HEIGHT Technologies and Auterion represents a significant leap forward in ISR drone technology,” said Ernst Thijsen, Founder & CEO  HEIGHT Technologies. “By combining our expertise in unmanned aerial systems with Auterion’s cutting-edge flight control technology, we are paving the way for more advanced, interoperable, and autonomous defense solutions.”

“We are excited to collaborate with HEIGHT Technologies to redefine the future of ISR operations,” added Lorenz Meier, Founder & CEO of Auterion. “Together, we are setting new standards for drone autonomy and battlefield effectiveness, ensuring that allied forces have the best tools at their disposal for networked operations.”

With this collaboration, HEIGHT Technologies and Auterion reaffirm their commitment to delivering next-generation ISR capabilities, strengthening defense operations, and fostering interoperability among allied nations.
